It's an 8-minute PowerPoint presentation of interesting facts and statistics about globalization, technology, and what our world is like today. Jennifer, I would like to start a discussion that has little to do with technology or even pedagogy and much to do with the instructor's content knowledge and development. ELI, like the College in general, is constantly supporting us in developing technological and pedagogical methods for improving our teaching, but there is rarely much encouragement/support/$$ for learning more about one's discipline subject matter. I would like to see more of a balance. Diane
